Club Tengo Hambre is a roving supper club that explores the food, wine, spirits and craft beer of Baja California and Mexico City. From the renowned street side stands of DF—as Mexico City is known—to Baja California’s cuisine, the exploding wine scene in the Valle de Guadalupe, Club Tengo Hambre gives curated excursions of Mexico’s best culinary offerings.
CTH is the collective efforts of Bill Esparza, Jason Thomas Fritz, and Antonio and Kristin Díaz de Sandi, whose respective blogs, Street Gourmet LA, Tijuanalandia, and Life and Food, have been widely recognized as some of the earliest and most influential voices covering Baja California’s cultural renaissance and emerging food and wine scene.
What started as like-minded bloggers with a love for Mexico sharing intel and engaging in passionate discussions about our favorite food spots, eventually transformed into the idea of a hip, modern take on the classic supper club, where we could bring friends along on our food adventures.
With unique relationships built over the years with Mexico’s best chefs, restaurateurs, taqueros, vintner, brewers and mescal makers, Club Tengo Hambre offers culinary experiences that are one-of-a-kind. Our outings are about recreating our own incredible Mexico experiences for you. It’s our aim to celebrate both the social aspect of food in bringing people together and the rich culinary scenes that make Baja California and Mexico City among the world’s greatest destinations for food lovers.
