Valle de Guadalupe
If you join us on a trip to Valle de Guadalupe, you may also stay behind and spend some extra time there.
Please note: There are no custom drop-offs during public outings. If you plan to stay in Valle de Guadalupe, the outing ends at the final stop of the itinerary, please make sure to have transportation arrangements to transfer you to your next destination. Ride-sharing services are not available in this area.

Villa Matilda | Small and quaint B&B
El Mogor | a beautiful room within a great-old house —a museum, really— in El Mogor, which houses acclaimed Deckmans in El Mogor and Cavas del Mogor. La Cocina de Doña Esthela | The Valle de Guadalupe’s breakfast spot for northern Mexico specialty options. Order the borrego tatemado with a piping hot cup of café de la olla. Make sure you arrive early before it opens, to claim your spot.
Bruma Wine Garden | Mexican chef-led brunch restaurant set amongst a beautiful tree-shaded area
Envero | This ingredient-focused restaurant led by Chef Alex Torres + Chef Fabiola Aceves has the most delightful expansive views of the Valle
Lunario | Chef Sheyla Alvarado’s restaurant is driven by seasons and ingredient availability. The restaurant is inside the Lomita property, a Baja California distinguished winery.
Conchas de Piedra | You can’t go wrong with shellfish and bubbly in Baja. The small outdoor restaurant in a vineyard by Chef Drew Deckman features sustainable and regional seafood and wines.

Cremería Los Globos | Cheese shop carrying a variety of locally-sourced dairy products and culinary goods. Our favorites are from Real del Castillo and Ramonetti, two recognized cheese producers from the region.
Baja Divina | Small boutique wine shop inside of Finca Altozano with a hand-selection of wine bottles from the area.

If you join us on a trip to Ensenada, you may also stay behind and spend some extra time in the area.

We often get the question, “Where do you eat the best Mexican food in San Diego?” and our reply is “Mexico!”. Nevertheless, if you are making it a weekend for your trip with CTH, here are some suggestions including exclusive-to-SD spots to eat and drink.

Romesco (Bonita) | Delicious Baja-Mediterranean cuisine in a strip mall plaza. It's from the same restaurateur family as Caesar's in Tijuana.
Little Italy Farmers Market | Check out the beauty of Southern California produce at this Farmers Market in Little Italy.
Tacos El Gordo (Chula Vista) | Savor the classics at this popular Tijuana-style taquería.
