A whirlwind hop around the port city’s famed seafood stands, called by many as among the best in the world.
When globetrotting food lover Anthony Bourdain recently described Ensenada’s seafood-centric mariscos stands as ‘Le Bernardin-quality seafood in the street,’ it was of little surprise to CTH.
With its surrounding two seas, Baja California was primed to become one of the world’s great centers of ingredient-driven seafood cuisines.
Ensenada CTH style
CTH's Ensenada outings are small, intimate gatherings. A blogger once described Club Tengo Hambre outings this way: 'It felt like very cool friends were showing us around their town.' That's what CTH is all about.
Our aim is to celebrate both the social aspect of food in bringing people together and the vibrant scene that makes Ensenada one of the best places in the world for seafood + craft beer.
Our day trips are perfect for bachelor/ette parties, birthday celebrations, team-building experiences, you name it! Any occasion that deserves good food and drinks.

Your Private CTH Daycation in a nutshell.
THE RENDEZVOUS POINT
Your CTH Host will meet you on the US side of the border, in front of the McDonalds at the San Ysidro Trolley station. We will walk into Tijuana as a group, and guide you through Mexican customs, then meet our transportation on the other side.
EAT. DRINK. REPEAT.
Once aboard, we welcome everyone w/ an agave spirit tasting and embark on a 1.5 hour scenic drive to Ensenada. Over the course of the afternoon, our roving supper club will visit our favorite places in Ensenada’s booming curbside culinary scene, eating our way through the best of the city’s famed street food. In between, we’ll visit one of Baja’s oldest cantina for a round of beers. At the end, we’ll wash it all down with craft beer at a renowned Baja brewery.
ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END
With full bellies + slight buzzes, we’ll head back to the border, where our transportation will drop us off at the pedestrian crossing on the Tijuana side. You will cross through the US Customs by foot. The exit of the facility is right where we started, at the San Ysidro Trolley Station. Border waits can be unpredictable.
